Mike Falk, CCIM, SIOR

Mike Falk earned his real estate license and graduated from the University of Utah in 1987 with a bachelor of science in finance with an emphasis on real estate investment and appraisal. That same year, he began a commercial real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE) in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was named Rookie of the Year. In 1991 he moved to Colliers CRG (now Cushman Wakefield), and four years later was awarded the Board of Realtors Commercial Real Estate Salesman of the Year award as the top GCI producer in the state.

Falk remained the top-producing broker at Colliers until founding NAI Utah with his partners in 1998. NAI Utah became the #1 CRE Firm by Transaction Volume for several years before changing affiliations in 2013. The firm expanded regionally to become the leading commercial real estate firm in the Mountain West states before selling the brokerage to Newmark Knight Frank (NMRK) in 2019.

Falk has coached, mentored, and trained hundreds of people who have gone on to produce meaningful results. Several are top producers at other companies; others have transitioned to successful careers in other industries, started their own companies, or are top producers in Falk’s firm.

Over the years, Falk achieved both the CCIM and SIOR designations, became a 32nd-degree Mason, and has received several awards, including being named one of Utah’s most influential people and being honored as CEO of the Year by Utah Business Magazine.

He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), for which he served as education chair in YPO Gold and served on the board of US Bank.

He has three adult children who are entering their own careers; his daughters as singer-songwriters in Nashville, and a son as an NFL quarterback.

Kat Kobzeff

Kat Kobzeff is a digital marketer who has spent the last 15 years helping grow small businesses and startups. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Long Beach State and began her career as both a reporter and technical copywriter for a government contracting company.

She was the first Social Media Manager at Buffini & Company and went on to develop their Content Marketing Team. After working there for several years she decided to turn her marketing side hustle into her full-time gig and started her own marketing agency, CopyKat Consulting.

For the last seven years she’s built a thriving business that specializes in real estate marketing.

In 2018 she joined the Abundant Broker Team to help brokers discover their own path to business and financial freedom. 

In her free time, you can find Kat traveling with her two boys, husband and two dogs, usually hiking, fishing or exploring remote locations across the Mountain West region.


Eric Powers

With an impressive 37-year background in commercial real estate and business, Mr. Powers has orchestrated over $1.8 billion in transaction value across 12 states.

Originally hailing from the West Coast in California, Eric decided to plant new roots in the Charlotte area back in 2019. Prior to settling in North Carolina, his career included executive positions with NAI Global as EVP Brokerage Services, NAI Capital as EVP of Brokerage, and a 13-year stint as CEO for a cutting-edge healthcare-oriented Fintech company.

Nate Worthen, CCIM, SIOR

Nate Worthen is the primary founder and principal of Professional Real Estate Services. Nate’s career in real estate began in 2012 with Newmark Knight Frank as a member of Newmark’s Global Corporate Services division. 

By 2014 Nate became the Director of the Global Corporate Services division and joined the Salt Lake City office’s executive management team. 

In 2019, he elected to start his own real estate brokerage which culminated in the creation of Professional Real Estate Services. Nate also works as an instructor for the CCIM Institute where he teaches CI 102: Commercial Real Estate Market Analysis.

Over his career, Nate has been responsible for more than $2.1 billion in closed real estate sales spanning more than 1,600 transactions in more than 40 countries.  Nate’s listings have been featured in the LA Times, Ouest-France (international French newspaper), Western Business Real Estate, and local media including a television spot on Fox 13 News.

Nate lives in Layton, Utah, with his wife, Courtnie, and daughter, Cache.
